Why Support Missions?
Missions is the heartbeat of God.
Anything that is close to God's heart ought to be close to our hearts! The world will never be brought to Christ unless we help take Christ to the world. The last words spoken by the Lord to His disciples were a call to spread the good news about Jesus Christ, not only around the corner but also around the world:
"And ye shall be witnesses unto Me, both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and unto the uttermost part of the earth." Acts 1:8b
Faith Baptist Church is "the hometown church with a heart for the world." Through our Faith Promise Missions program, it is our privilege to support missionaries who are doctrinally sound and are seeking to evangelize a lost and dying world. We host a Missions Conference each fall, and our church families enjoy stocking a small mission closet for visiting missionaries in the hope that we can be a small blessing to them as they seek to fulfill the Great Commission.
